Race Experience
with Tom

An August 2016 Race Experience for Tom, who had already completed his RYA Level 3. A windy day gave him the opportunity to try more advanced trapezing techniques and experience first hand what happens when the horse breaks!
Tom is now looking for a crewing position and would be suitable for an RS400 or Fireball.

Race Experience
with Mark

A 2015 crew experience session to introduce Mark to asymmetric racing. Prior to the session, Mark had not used a gennaker or trapeze but quickly built his skill set over the session and showed great dexterity around the boat in light winds.

 with Becky

A 2013 crew experience session to give Becky a feel for competitive sailing. With less than 1 hours previous trapeze experience and only minutes using a gennaker she builds in confidence and improves techniques in strong winds.

Race Experience
with Gavin

A 2015 crew experience session for Gavin. With a couple of cancellations due to bad weather, the wind was actually a bit light. The racing may have been less frantic but the conditions allowed the helm and crew to swap roles after the race.
Well done to Gavin for some nifty and controlled footwork.
